Funafric.com  has been conceived as an internet based music vending and entertainment company. Its core business objective is the provision of a platform for distributing a wide range of music forms, mainly of the African genre, over the Internet, in a digital format. It will also provide entertainment news, information and sales of memorabilia and other such items.

• For a fee, clients will be able to access the web-based portal of the company, and download music of their choice. The company will position its self as a low cost, fairly priced, easy access portal, targeted at a critical mass of diverse audience, Africans and non-Africans, who like African music and culture and will like to know what is going on in the African entertainment scene The rights to the content have hitherto been cleared with the right owners (Record Companies and Performing artistes) either directly or /and through the various collecting societies. The right owners monitor the sales of their works as they have all been given an interface platform to enable them ascertain how receptive their works are by the public. To enjoy this download service, customers are expected to register as users of the service. We NEVER give or sell your personal info to any other company - EVER! (No not even your email address!)

• Even The right owners whose works you have downloaded will not know who you are.
• Your credit card information and details are never stored; as a matter of fact your cards details are never accessed by us. They are at all times retained by the Payment Administrators (e.g. Interswitch or Visa). We assure you that our payment administrators have put in place proper and up to date security measures to protect your details from abuse or unwarranted use. Yes! This means you'll have to type your card number again when you return, but we hope you appreciate the extra safety and privacy it gives you.

Information Collection and Use by funafric.com
Funafric.com collects user submitted information such as name and  email address,  to authenticate users and to send notifications to those users relating to the Funafric.com service. Funafric.com also collects other profile data including but not limited to: personal interests, gender, age, education and occupation in order to assist Funafric.com  in the delivery of optimum service to its  users.

Funafric.com also logs non-personally-identifiable information including IP address, profile information, aggregate user data, and browser type, internet service provider (ISP), referring/exit pages, operating system, date/time stamp, and clickstream data from users and visitors to the site.

Funafric.com stores the email addresses that members provide so that the respondents may be added to the friend's list of the member sending the invitations, and also to send reminders of the invitations.

Funafric.com does not sell these email addresses or use them to send any other communication besides invitations, invitation reminders (up to three (3) per email address).

Recipients of invitations from Funafric.com may contact Funafric.com to request the removal of their information from our database.

Funafric.com contains links to sites. Funafric.com is not responsible for the privacy policies and/or practices on other sites.
